I searched the forum and only found very old threads. I have a KLR with custom luggage rack and hard panniers. Ideally I would like a legal bicycle rack that would not interfere with the panniers and still allow a pillion too. If it could take two bikes all the better.
Alternatively something that would fit in conjunction with the existing pannier racks but the bike woudl be more on the side meaning the one pannier would have to be left off.
Seen lots of pictures. I am looking for a rack locally available and that even a pleb like me could fit himself with basic tools ie no welding, drilling, grinding etc. Just a bolt on solution. Thats first prize.
Having to have it fitted in a shop with tools would be second prize.
Additionally I am looking for a centre stand option. My recent foray into changing a flat rear wheel would have been so much easier with a centre stand. And that was in my garage. On the trail it would be invaluable.
Any ideas - I'm in Cape Town.
