Bike from Johannesburg to Cape Town

I am about to buy a Honda XLR 250 in Johannesburg. Is there anybody driving down from Joburg to Cape Town with a bakkie or van next week? Happy to contribute to petrol and beer. Bike is small and light. Cheers Lars
