My insurance company requires me to, and I quote:
"1. In die geval van â??n motorfiets met â??n versekerde waarde vanaf R50 000-00, die
volgende minimum beveiligingsvereiste van toepassing is.
- â??n Vesa goedgekeurde Vlak 4 â??Auto-watchâ?-alarmstelsel, met sensor-fasiliteit..
2. Dekking ten opsigte van diefstal/kaping is onderhewig aan skriftelike bewys van die
bogenoemde vereiste."

Am I the only nar who's required to satisfy this requirement, or are there others in the same boat as well? From what I hear the autowatch alarm system is actually more of a hassle than anything else - apparantly the frieken thing starts screaming :director: if you so much as stare at your bike?
Does anyone have experience with this type of device on a GSA?
Does anyone perhaps have current insurance where this was NOT a requirement?
If it does need to be fitted, any suggestions as to a recommended fitment centre?
