This is how an offroad bike features if you wind it too much, or as some have mentioned ignore looking after the equipment.
First bad luck was a puncture (repaired with can of mutti, wheel not removed from bike), then a mechanical failure on the rear axle - loose axle & chain (no locknut or washer anywhere to be found) & the chance to use cable ties to remedy the situation ... to limp back down Sani Pass free wheeling all the way across the SA border post.
This was a mates bike, not mine - so I don't have the info on type of tube, any slime, etc.
Not bashing a brand here - just saying.
