Over at another forum we have this Biker assist program and i like the concept of it.
It is basically a list of forum member volunteers who would offer their services to other forum members in trouble.
For example:
I am Captain Slow, real name Hein Bence, Cell number 083blabla, Area of assistance Port Elizabeth, Type of assistance: basic tools, excess to workshop, can organise a trailer, can assist in breakdown, can offer sleep over accommodation.
You get the idea. At the other forum we have a Excel file with all the details of these volunteer forum members. Excess to the file will only be grated to fellow volunteer members. If you don't volunteer your services you can't see the list.
I think its a great idea. Remeber not everybody has BMW assist
