Has anyone attempted to blast plastic in any way..? My idea is to achieve as close to the original finish as you would find on black plastics, with a semi satin or matt finish. Would soda ash work..? Has anyone tried this? And what has been your experience and your results...
Also, engine casings, in preparation for respray. Has anyone had a particularly good result with any specific company or kind of blast..?
I am in Cape Town so ideally I would like to know about companies that would be able to help successfully in that area...
