Hi WD's, just wanted to share with you.
My fuel pump made a high pitch sound when switching on ignition and was told that is signs of the Fuel pump straining/packing up. At a cost of R8000 that is a tad expensive to replace. Then I read on the forum that one should make sure to replace Fuel Filter, which we have just done, and WOW, total different sound on ignition, quieter and a deeper sound, I could not believe the difference. So dogs change those fuel filters, must say it was not such a bad job but being two helps a lot, because one can hold the tank up right while the other maneuvers the unit out and back into place.
Major difference in sound
