BMW F650 cutting out between 2500 and 3000 revs

Hi

I was riding my bike on Saturday morning. At first it was perfect, but after 10 minutes it cut out just over 2,500 revs. I managed to start it fine, but had to rev high to keep it from cutting out.

I've sent it off to Atlantic (fortunately I was in the area).

Any ideas?
