bmw helmet sizes???

Hi all, bought a brand new system 6 bmw helmet from a wd member and have now worn it twice.Have a system 5 also, but the system 6 seems to be really tight.Do you think the inners will still wear out or is it a smaller design than system 5.If so then I am buggered with this new helmet and would like to swop or sell it again.both sizes are 58/59 on helmet.
