Posting on behalf of a friend - R1100 GS - a sought after meneer! Offers in region of R40K
1998 Anniversary. ABS and handwarmers. 137,000ks. Panniers, topbox, tankbag.
Spare unused beak, set of mirrors, screen, handguards. Big aluminium topbox (600x400x400) the top of which makes a lovely camping table twice the size of the top (trust me) on telescoping legs and has all the hooks and rails one needs to fasten tents, sleeping bags and the like. Rear subframe beefed up (see the pictures) to enable the carrier to take huge weight, back footpegs lowered for comfort of pillion.
Maintained very well. Gearbox bearings all replaced recently, big bearing in diff replaced, new alternator bearings and brushes put in recently, front wheelbearings, clutchplate replaced recently, new tank about 15,000ks ago. Back swingarm bearings replaced. Owner is a believer in preventative maintenance. The bike is just too heavy for him now and wife is less keen ys on long trips or gravel trips and he just has too many bikes! Bike has given only pleasure.
