Selling this old girl - 38 year old R80 G/S.
Colour - Blue, still original colour from BMW factory
Mileage: shows 48K but odo does not work, so no idea what correct figure is.
Front mudguard and rear indicators non standard.
Modifications: Wilburs progressive springs in forks. I had it done by Superfoxi in 2022 because the fork seals were leaking.
Regular oil changes done according to previous owner who had the bike for 26 years.
Seat has a small tear that needs repair. see pic
Fork boots torn - needs replacement - see pic
Engine runs well, Starts very easy.
Tyres still good for many km.
Matching chassis and engine numbers
Registered in my name and license up to date.
I bought the bike as a project to completely renew but have bitten off more than I can chew. I have 2 more of these bikes one of which is being repaired after having caught fire. also running out of parking
Price: R80K - negotiable.
