I saw these Touratech mudguard extensions on the net that fits to the GS1200 mudguard.

I decided to give it a whack.  What do I have to loose?

Bought a cracked mudguard from my mate at ACME for R100.

Photo 1:  WHeel with Standard Mudguard

PHoto 2:  The cracked mudguard I cut in half.

Photo 3:  The bottom part of the mudguard where I want to fix it.

PHoto 4:  I cut it, I mark it, now I will fit it.

Photo 5:  I removed the front wheel and then the arch.  I drilled 4mm holes through both plastics and riveted them on with a 4mm washer on the inside.

Photo 6:  Estimated length of extension - 100mm.

What I would've done differently:  Wash the stuff before posting the photos.

I am now off to fit it on my bike.
