last week I bought myself a pair of Berik Mudlife boots - i usually wear a size 12, and usually struggle to find shoes so when i walked in i automatically grabbed the biggest pair of the 4 they had in stock, which was a US 14 (our size 13 basically). tried them on and they were quite snug, maybe even a little tight, but with the waterproof lining in. when i take out the lining they're a good fit, but ever so slightly loose around the back of my ankle and i might have some room around my calf (it's hard to tell if it's space, the sock, or the thickness of the boot).
I'm just wondering if that's a good compromise. I mean, they're not super loose, just a little roomy in places. bad thing?
like i said, waterproof lining in and they're tight.
what do you guys think?
