I need some advice.
I have been riding for many years and have transitioned from Fox forma pro to Fox comp, then Thor biltz then TCX shorty. I have also made the mistake of buying DMD boots last year for 2K - lesson learnt, they are total k@k. My gardener now looks quite butch met sy biker(ish) boots.
Planning to ride down to surprize the family over Easter so I need to get moving on boots.
Currently looking at Forma Adventure shorty for R4k which is rated well and the Gaerne G-adventure which is basically the same boot. Also Alpinestars Tech 3 for about 4K
My only current issue is that on extended trips say with 60/40 tar to gravel my feet start to hurt. The stiffer sole is something I miss so I'm leaning toward the alpinestars which are more likely to have a stiffer sole.
Willing to go back to stiffer boot with a bit less comfort walking around but want to buy something I can use for a few years.
Any revelations I am not aware of?
