Got new front brake pads, will be getting new rear on Saturday. A bit worrying that spinning the front wheel freely sees the wheel stop quite soon due to friction - the brake pads are continually in contact with the brake disks. Is there any way to avoid this when fitting new brake pads? Or, are you suppose to wait it out until the pads wear enough to cause a gap between them and the disk?
