Hi,
I've bought a deur die gat getrekte 1150GSA, and is in the process of building a street scrambler.
Unfortunately, the steering had a LOT of lateral wobble. The repair manual is not clear, there seems to be a bush between the top of the frame and the bottom of the angular bearing? Brass maybe? Some cowboy fitted two different sized washers there, which seems out of place. And if so, does someone have the dimensions for me to machine a new one?
The blank stare I got from the local youth at the BMW parts counter speaks volumes, and none of it is remotely related to efficient service.
I will soon also post a list of 1150GSA stuff that will be for sale, including tank, luggage rack, crashbars and a almost new speedo
