Bought this bike in March 2013 from a student here in town when I got it it had 490km on the clock his Dad had bought it for him (as far as I know new) as a commute here in Grahamstown. I was told the speedo did not work and had stopped working in the previous October. At the time I thought the seller was a spoilt brat as he had left it outside while he studied, there was a scratch on the front "number" board (still there see pic), surface rust on the crash bars here and there (see pics) I also noted part of the "fan / pully" cover low down looked like it was damaged. Basically cosmetic ****. I bought it!
Jump forward a year it had, had a good clean and a speedo cable. Presented to my eldest daughter on her 16th. Guess what! she complained she wanted a bike with big wheels and refused to ride it. Two years later after zero use I decided to sell it. My youngest daughter then pleaded for me not to as SHE wanted to ride it. Jump forward another two years and nothing (They are 4 years apart). Only on her 17th did she decide to get her license and after that I insisted she wash the bike and ride a bit with FC (She could ride already as she had ridden the DR200 and others before but she needed a bit of polishing up on riding skills). That behind us she took the bike. Jump forward another year (now!!!). I AM SELLING IT! She rode the tank empty then parked it! A TOTAL OF 81.3km.
From what I know its a 2009 model it is good, it goes and it is in the condition I got it (just clean). Dont ask we a price I am asking you! Make a offer the highest takes it. Just remember though I am only going to take a reasonable offer and I am also putting a for sale sign on it in my drive through.
Long line of spoilt brats in its history please I hope the person that buys it has a child that will use it.
