A mate and I will be going to Calvinia next weekend to visit my parents for my father's birthday. I am looking for route suggestions, as much gravel as possible! The farm's gravel road turn off is about 7 km outside of Nieuwoudtville on the left towards Calvinia.
So far the plan is gravel all the way from; Malmesbury, Moorreesburg, Koringberg, Sandveld, Kapteinskloof, Paleisheuwel, Clan William, Pakhuispas. From there I need some assistance to try and stick to gravel all the way to the farm house. Ideally would like to avoid gravel highways as we definitely prefer more technical riding, however will not be too picky as we'll have a decent amount of riverbed/technical riding on the farm.
Open to route suggestions for the way back as well, otherwise we'll just do it in reverse
