Okay, who's up for an adventure in December?

I'm thinking of doing a six/seven-day bike tour in Cambodia. The plan is to fly out of JHB on the 18th of December, arrive late in Phnom Penh on the 20th via Bankok.

Rent bikes and get going on the 21st on a route we can decide upon together. My thinking is head north to mainly visit remote ruins etc.

After a week's riding we take it easy for a day or two, see some more sites and head back to Bankok to catch the flight home on the 1st Jan 2010.

I've been to Cambodia a few years back, it's an awesome country for riding.

XR 400's are about R300 a day while smaller bikes like 250's are about R190 a day. Return flights to Bankok is about R11 000, plus another +- R1000 to fly to Phnom Penh (Cambodia's capital).

My estimate for cost is about R17 000 to R20 000 per person all in.

The idea is to stay over in village guesthouses which are quite cheap, and see countryside and lost temples along the way.
