Can I renew my motorcycle learners license that's about to expire?

Hi guys,

I have a learner's license that expires at the end of Sep 2014. I'm ready to take the test but booking it is proving problematic. I heard somewhere that it may be possible to renew it for a further period. Does anyone know if this is possible? What's involved etc?

P.S. I've been told by Randburg testing station that they've stopped accepting motorcycle license bookings "indefinitely" - which I suppose means that they're full up for a while. Can anyone recommend another testing centre in Joeys?
