Can you think of a better way to spend a Wednesday?

I can't.

Monkeyboy and I had nothing to do this afternoon, so a ride was called for. Lunch time and we dashed out to the Klapmuts turn off on the N1 to find the first bit of gravel. Tyre pressure down, and it was time to break in the new TKCs.

We found the Eenzaamheid road and off we went in the vague direction of Paarl.

The flowers were even blooming here.

Quick stop to admire the view... well, the bikes that is. I think the Dommie is looking awesome with its new tyres!

On to Paarl Nature Reserve, which has a couple of nice loops.

Look what the BMW rider taught me to do!

Ah, a well deserved pit stop.

On  the ride home we found one of Monkeyboy's future pets.

All in all an absolutely fantastic way to spend a Wednesday afternoon.

Oh, and we found Grrr...'s secret hideout.

Thankfully no mud. I hate mud. Although with the new tyres it might not be so bad??
