It is that time of the year again.....yeah, the Canola Run!
This year, we will be running an all new route, but with the same type of riding through little plaaspaadjies in the fields around Caledon. We will post some gps tracks and waypoints for those who normally get lost!
All new venues this year, a new lunch venue etc. Some changes we have done this year, is to allow family members to partake in all the fun, as they may join in 4x4's, bakkies etc. There will even be a "bakkie-guide" this year. If you have baggage, you may load it onto a bakkie and collect at the finish.
For those wanting to ride more after lunch, we have now included an after-lunch route as well, where you will be able to enjoy even more scenery.
Registration and indemnity from 08h00, and the fun starts at 09h00. The lenght of the route will be posted here later. as we are still in negotiation with more farm owners for even more private roads.
For those who have not done the Canola Run, please enter, as the routes used are all privately owned farm land, and cannot be used any other time other than the Canola Run.
Registration is R150 per rider and R50 for a pillion or family member in a car. That includes a braai and a free drink! A cash bar will be available at the lunch venue. Please contact Tienie for registration and payment, at [email protected] or on 083 468 8174.
