The Tradouw pass was another first for me and was really enjoyed!

The day ended for us at the Karoo Saloon outside Barrydale - what a great bikers venue!

Thank goodness Wolweseun`s GS800`s rear wheelbearings packed up coming over the Swartberg pass  :biggrin: I could now hold my head high again :biggrin:
 
We left after a hearty breakfast and tried a beaut of a shortcut - but ended up at locked gates!!

On our way to Sewe weeks poort we came across this accident. The lady and her joung child were found 500m before the accident walking in the wrong direction to their farm. I was dispatched to find help while the other greyhounds stayed to help. Note the battery in the first photo more than 100m from the bakkie.

On the way out of Gamkapoort dam Throttlejockey proved that with a bit of suspension work- the 800 can jump! :biggrin:
