I am travelling up to Ramabanta to watch and support the Roof of Africa, meeting some friends there who are driving down from JHB, trailering their enduro bikes down for some fun around the area during the race.
My guess is that there will be numerous adventure bikers making this trip from the Cape and I would like to check if anyone is keen to ride along or meet up along the way for a few drinks or ride support. I will be taking two nights to get there, stopping in Willowmore and Burgersdorp along the way, entering Lesotho at Van Rooyens Gate.
I will not be racing and will be on my XTZ660 which only cruises at 120kph max and carrying tent and baggage, tools etc.
I am not advanced offroad but happy to take dirt whenever possible; I am also planning some routes internal to Lesotho as I do not plan to exit on the same route as I enter. Please let me know if anyone is keen to ride along.
