I'm looking for any general advice for a Cape Town to Malgas route.
I'm an absolute novice adventure rider, never really ridden dirt before and will be riding on my own, so not looking for anything technical. That said, I'm keen to ride as much "gentle" dirt as possible just to start getting my feet wet. I'll be on a Honda XR650L.
Looking at google maps, it seems the best way to maximise dirt roads would be the sort of Stanford > Papiesvlei > Elim (well just North of Elim) > Bredasdorp > Malgas route. I.e. keeping South of Napier and the R316.

Anyone in the area got any suggestions?
I'll be heading back to Cape Town a few days later, so could tweak the return route to include any other nice routes.
