I am planning a trip to Caprivi and Botswana over late December and early January. I know south Namibia as far as Etosha but am not familiar with territory further north. Any information on budget lodges and decent campsites will be appreciated. I have googled this area but keep coming across very expensive tourist lodges - there must be a few gems that locals can afford among that lot. Also areas to avoid as well as areas that must be viewed. Any advice would be appreciated.
