Cardo (or other comms) question

Ride last night went later than I expected, and wanted to make a quick call to the wife. Too much of a mission. Stop, get to my phone, remove gloves and helmet, and 30 seconds later put phone away, helmet and wet gloves back on. I'm looking at getting a Cardo to make it simpler. A secondary benefit would be to hear the Zumo. I don't listen to music while I ride. Would there be any down-sides, or "important" feature I'll be missing if I just buy the cheapest Cardo (or Sena) I can find? I should be able to make the call from the Garmin, meaning that I don't have to get to my phone.
