Some advice please....

I set my chain tension as to the recommended specs. But as soon as I load the bike, the chain goes really tight. (luggage or pillion...same thing.) The result was that I killed a rear sprocket in 5000kms. (noticed it way too late :mad:)

Am I missing something? Surely youre not supposed to adjust the chain tension all the time? And what about technical terrain, where you have a lot of travel on the swingarm?

Yes, my suspension is set up correctly.
