I own a DRZ. I love it. But I have taken it offroad twice in 6 months. Getting offroad from Claremont / Newlands is a bit of a thing; it requires a morning off or a whole day. and having a little kid who is 3 getting that much time off is a challenge.
I am considering selling it to acquire a road bike *gasp*shock*horror*. Because that makes more sense in terms of pillion (so I can ride when I see my girlfriend) and carrying a laptop and gym bag to work, so it will be ridden more. At the moment the DRZ is getting started / ridden once a week.
How many people have done this? Did you sob endlessly for your offroad bike?
