- Cagiva Elefant 900
Got a 2013 F800GS for sale. Was a daily driver on a 80km round trip until lockdown started. Since then only done around 300km. It is seriously in my way, every time my wife wants to use her FJ, I need to move it. And I’m seriously gatvol of buying new batteries.
It has some nice add-ons:
Carbon Fibre screen - original taken off at 1500km, still available;
Upper shock bolt reinforcement bracket at same time;
Hyde hi-cover bashplate-original is somewhere but it is meaningless;
I think SW Motech lower crashbars, but I’m not sure of the brand;
SW Motech Trax topbox;
Geniune Acrapivic slip-on- this was on a 1150GS, a Cagiva Elefant and this 800, so its the older, round style slip-on;
Tool tube with heaven knows what’s inside;
Foam unifilter air filter from new.
Wear and tear and not great:
Headlamp lenses were replaced with plexiglass. Its very difficult to see if you do not know this fact;
Main beam slightly reflector slightly darkened;
Front tyre likely won’t pass roadworthy but it will pass a traffic stop;
Rims are marked from dirt road rash and tyre levers, but I see no smileys;
Seat cover stiching has been poorly repaired at the very front;
Seat is pretty lumpy;
A 15mm and 5mm scuff on the left rear plastics, soft luggage. Very much touch upable. Bike has never crashed or even softly put down at a filling station.
Bike has between 97 and 98 000km on it. I can only verify once I find the key.
I will also take photos when I find the key.
