Nice coincidence Seekvlieg. Do your parents still live there?

Interesting how after 23 years in this tropical area, even the vegetation in the car and trees behind look the same.

No, never lived there, was lucky enough to travel a lot when we were younger, all this trip reports bring back a lot of memories and bit of jealousy

Fantastic trip and report. I really like and agree with your world view and that of riding.

Zim is a great place to ride. No doubt about that. As is Bots.

Spent my Sunday reading this rr, 'refreshing internet and reading till I got most of it here on Gough.
Good entertainment for the past 2 days  :imaposer:
Thanks Xpat, great RR  :thumleft:
Since you ride the KTM 690 in a later RR I assume you do not have the 660 Tenere anymore?

Also my first time seeing and reading this RR. Thoroughly enjoyed reading and now I know what I want to do next year.

Thanks. I still have the Tenere - it is sitting at Runners waiting for me to sort out paper work before I sell it (I lost the stupid registration papers). It is OKish bike, but no match to 690.
