If you ride a classic BMW GS (R80G/S, R80-100GS, PD, Kalahari or the like) this group could be what you were looking for.
The Classic G/S riders generally tend to be on a more leasurly pace, but this does not mean that they are not prepared for some real adventure.
All riders are welcome of course, but the slowest riders is always in front and the fast riders in the back. This mean if you don't like to go slow don't come on this ride.
The ride is from Cape Town starting at no37 Frere Street Woodstock on Sat 25 October at 7:30am (This mean you have to be there by about 7)
The route start along the N1 to Wellington and then over the Bainskloof pass to Ceres. From Ceres we follow the R355 in the direction of Calvinia, turning of toward Middelpos over Ganaka pass. From Middelpos we will drive down to Sutherland where we will overnight at the hotel and visit the observatory.
On Sunday the 26 the route will return to Cape Town over Oubergse pas and from the R355 we will cross over the mountians to Op die Berg and back to Ceres and Cape Town.
