Clutch not engaging correctly on a 950 adventure

What could this be , I battle to get the bike in neutral if its running , and if it’s in 1st gear and I give it a bit of throttle the bike starts to move with the clutch still in??? ???, there is no problem with changing gears up or down while riding  ???
