Hi folks
Doing the run down to Africa Bike Week at the end of April again on the road bikes.
As usual I am tasked with sorting out an interesting alternative to the toll road.
As we are leaving after work on the Thursday arvie (26th April) - we will be overnighting at LalaNathi near Harrismith
My plan thus far is to use the N3 'til Villiers & then follow the R26 to Villiers, Frankfort & Reitz.
Then from Reitz, take the R57 to Kestell & then the N5 to Harrismith & hop onto the N3 toll road again for the short stint down to Lalanathi
which is at the bottom of Van Reenens.
My question is - what is the condition of the roads w.r.t potholes , road works etc, etc ?
