Truth be told I’ve never in all these years of riding bikes actually had a motorcycle license, the process in SA is a nightmare so I could never bring myself to actually go through with it.
In the US here doing a license is fairly quick and easy you can do learners + license all same day.
Question is, does anyone have knowledge or personal experience with coming to South Africa with a foreign license and the conversion thereof? For example in london I was able to just send in my SA license and receive back a UK drivers, however here in USA the SA license isn’t recognized so I’ve had to write + drive again to get one.
In the ideal world I can just convert my usa one when visiting SA again, if you’ve done this please let me know if it’s possible
