Coolant fluid is going missing

My header tank coolant level dropped, topped it up, it dropped again, no signs of leaks, suspect the water pump impeller shaft is shot, letting coolant into the oil system, checked oil level dipstick, normal colour, but a bit high. Am looking at a kit from USA, very hard shaft....almost same price as KTM kit.
