Coolant Type: Does it Matter?

Forgive me if  I have posted this thread on the wrong board. 

I have a curious question about coolant.  How does the coolant for bikes differ  from that of cars?  To put his question in another way, suppose I walked into Mida and bought coolant, would this be suitable for a  bike?  If not what is special about coolant for bikes?  I look forward to your educated answer.
