Ok... so i have access to a metalwork factory.. and a very skillfull shifting spanner (read: person able to do anything with metal).
What would be the best material to manufacture crashbars out of?
I have seen the Hepco and touratech stuff.. it was difficult to see what kind of material it was made of.
The idea of manufacturing my own crashbars for the dakar sounds a heluva lot better than spending the bucks for imported stuff. (if i can find a functional yet pleasing to the eye solution.)
Who knows there might just be a market for it.
