How many of you have broken that flimsy plastic bracket that holds the hand protector to the mirror clamp? Peaches has broken a few of these silly brackets during her quest to improve her offroad skills, and at R60-00+ each time they get broken I decided to make a plan. I got hold of a piece of 5mm rubber belting and cut out the same shape as the plastic oe part, punched the relative holes through them and tried them out.
The reason they break is the hand protector turns around the bar, the bracket is rigid, so it snaps. Now the protector can turn, the rubber piece will bend as well.
