My Dakar started cutting out at idle, so I searched f650.com, but no luck for my specific case. Then I searched Wild Dogs and found this reply by Underdog in an old thread:
Open the RHS Faux tank panel, to the front of the air intake snorkel, there's some wires coming out of a plug(this is the O2 sensor..). Make sure the plug is not loose, check the wiring to see if it's secure.
If the plug is loose, use some duct tape, wind it around the base of the plug (one layer should do) re-insert plug pressing it firmly to make sure it remains in place.

Guess what: it worked for me too :thumleft:. It's not the oxygen sensor (that's in the exhaust manifold, I think) - rather the air temperature sensor. Mine was loose - did the duct tape thing and stalling is cured.
