My Dakar's handlebars seem to be bent. Or something.
For a long time now, I've been feeling that I have to compensate slightly with my one arm to make the bike go straight. Very subtly. I had a hard 'off' (as opposed to a hard on ;D) in sand a few months ago, and I sort of remember it starting after that.
I must have adjusted to it completely, until a friend of mine rode the bike over the weekend and remarked that it runs skew!
I've tried to see what it is, but there are no obvious clues. The forks don't look like they've shifted. Perhaps the handlebar is just slightly bent on the one side.
Any ideas how I can pinpoint the problem? Also, how does one fix bent handlebars? The thought of taking it to the dealer is drowned by the spinning of $$$.
