Hi guys & gals
I have recently acquired Knuckleheads 2000 model Dakkie, & need to know a few things from the fellow owners.
I am mostly very observant when it comes to bikes, but ironically, before ownership, these F650's never really appealed to me. However, in the two weeks of ownership I have realised that this bike suits my riding style like a glove, and I have a few questions about upgrades I can do for getting this bike ready for touring.
The bike came without a topbox, and I have my doubts about the grey plasticky bit behind the rear seat. There are no hooks or eyes where I can thread through some straps to tie stuff down.
1) Does the tailpiece of the later models look differently to the one I currenlty have on?
2) What do you guys use as luggage rack, topbox bracket, pannier brackets or soft bag brackets? Please reply with some pics. Whether it's off the shelf or pooratech, I will appeciate.
