Nothing serious, but I was wondering what the cause could be.
I have this habit of blipping the throttle (a quick, sharp twist) when changing down gears or, when standing at robot in neutral just before I slip it into first for a fast pull-away.
A hang-up from my youth and of no real use, but a habit ingrained in my way of riding bike.
Problem is that the Dakkie feels like it wants to cut out when I do (especially when standing at the robot and putting it in first gear with a quick blip). It has only actually cut out once which left me sitting as the cars was pulling away from either side of me (was lane splitting). It fired right up, but not a cool thing to happen.
Since I got the Dakkie I have learnt its manerisms and know not to touch the throttle during the start up procedure, so that is not the cause.
Anything else I can look at?
