I'm thinking of making a friend of mine an offer on his old XL500 which he bought as a demo from Honda in '79 - just as a little project for myself. The bike was bought with papers years ago, but was subsequently only used on the farm. I don't want to buy it, if it's not possible to get it back on the road again. The document I attached to this post is the only paper work associated with the bike, does it mean anything? Is it possible that the bike is still registered? (I blurred some of the personal info on the document).
