Hi Guys. after a very successful trip to Tanzania, SKEET and i are planning a trip from Durban to Cairo, departing in December 2014.
Firstly!! who wants to join us?
the biggest issue we have is our limited time, we have 10 weeks, we really want to ride to Cairo and then fly back home.
this leaves us with two choices, either ship the bikes back (it is frikking expensive) or buy older bikes (e.g XT600 Tenere) and sell the bikes when the trip is over.
i would love to get your opinions and perhaps advice from anyone that has done the trip.
- what challenges can we expect North of Kenya with our limited time?
- if we bought cheap bikes, what bikes would you guys recommend?
