Durbanville to villiersdorp...on dirt??

There's a Rally this weekend in villiersdorp and I'm going through on Saturday I reckon. Have to try out my new tent.  Would anyone be able to recommend the best way to go to ensure most gravel as possible?? I know it's not too far, but the N1 all the way isn't gonna cut the cheese. Any backroads that's a secret?
