Kevin wow some of those roads you took the GS up respect man .And that is one seriously well used bike I guess it has been on many lekker rides.Just goes to show.Have you had good service form her and how many k's done.Nice RR thanks.

I salute you Capt  and Mrs Leatherbum. Epic stuff and a hardy GS.

Nice trip  you went on.

Thanks for the RR

Thank for all the replies.

The rus en vrede eco trail was part of the original plan but after speaking to Gary the owner of the HP2 pictured I was having second thoughts so when we meet Brian and he was still beaming from ear to ear from his ride there the previous day I did not need much more encouragement.

He did warn us it would be tough .

We have had this bike  2004 for 5 years now only done 60000 km loved every second on it
no major issues .

This is also our third bash plate made in durban by TR tech has a rubber mounting with pop rivets that pull out on heavy impact there for saving engine casings .

Only ever replaced rivet once .

Thanks again for all the positive encouraging replies.

Cheers

There are a few good words that come to mind reading your RR:

Envy, Respect, Desire, Must do, and BALLS

Well done enjoyed sharing.

+1.........respect!
