To start things off - I would have to point out that this will be an all tar affair, I will be carrying a pillion (albeit a light one), and we intend doing quite a bit of mileage - so the KLR would not be ideally suited. This will be the first time that my pillion will be on a bike of any sorts as well, so wanted to introduce her on something a little more comfortable than the KLR.
SO - I've organised a GTR for the weekend. ;D
Anyway, we'll be leaving on Friday morning early-ish, and only need to get to Dullstroom that day (only about 200 km on the N4) - so I wanted to know if anybody could suggest a scenic alternative to the boring highway. Considering the bike, I'm not worried about covering distance, but would like to limit it to nothing more than 600-700 km. Your inputs would be very much appreciated
Some stats on the bike:
Fuel tank: 22 litres
Dry weight: 279 kg
Power: 114 kw @ 8800 rpm
Torque: 136 Nm @ 6200 rpm
Top Speed: ~250 km/h
Standing 1/4 mile: 11.2 s @ 202.1 km/h
