I haven't taken many pictures, but will start the report so long.

The other guys can add.

We met at the Caltex filling station at Bapiesfontein and decided that there won't really be mud on the road next to the railway line towards Rayton. Big mistake no1.

We had something to eat at Roxy's in Dronkwordspruit and then knew that the gravel road towards Delmas will be in a good condition. Big mistake no2.

Thanks guys for a nice ride.

For some strange reason the KLE front wheel didn't want to go in the right direction

Here the KLE's front wheel did the same again, mud between the wheel and mudguard prevented the wheel to turn and send the KLE into the grass ... Again...

After scraping and pulling and swearing at the monster that had a good grip on the KLE's front wheel the mud guard were removed, and off we went

All in all a wonderful day with wonderful people

Nice one!  Yep - we have to enjoy the mud while it lasts - in a couple of weeks it will just be dust for a couple of months,  But with this weather...

Nice.  Where exactly is this?  Do you have a gdb file?

The best place to start riding the railway line is 10km from Bapsfontein on the R50 towards Delmas. There one turns north.

We left the service road where the line crosses the R25 going from Bapsfontein to Bronkhorstspruit. The 'saki's took the long tar road via Donkerhoek and I took the direct road to Bhs. (A Yamaha will always arrive at the destination first.) :)

Leaving Bronkhorstspruit on the R25 we turned left just out of town on the road to Arbor. From there we worked our way to the R42 that goes to Delmas and joined up with the tar road.

KP recorded the route. Once he's recovered he'll show you whatever you need to see.

Respect for him in the mud with the KLE. Way beyond my ability.
