One of my friends took a long journey on his 1100 a few years back. He shipped his bike off to the southern tip of South America & then took a few months to travel all by his lonesome self to the northern most possible spot of North America that he could reach by bike. I've listened to a few of his adventures before but never knew he was 'secretly' writing a book on the side?
He just wrote an impressive 'Ride Report' on his adventure! It's awesome!!! Wow Gompa - ek't nie geweet jy kan skryf nie - was jy dalk op skool?!? >
It's titled 'From South to North'. I struggled to get a copy from Exclusive & eventually decided to rather wait for a copy I ordered on the interweb (www.porcupinepress.co.za ).
